Again more to come maybe tommorow..... More elephants, waterfalls, kayaking and tubing!!
It wanted Cherry's water!!! Naughty elephant!

Sleeper buses.... soft and cuddly on the outside....
BUT...... its all a clever disguise. (The back row of beds which we spent 40 continious hours on was 30cm wide and 1.5m long...... neither of us are chinese (i.e. short!!! BUT we really love chinese people) so it was very hard work!!)

The last of China...

More to come soon!
Best Wishes from Laos!
A casino in Macau, I went gambling and I got a chip to prove it. Only lost 30 HK$!!!
So Linda's staring at something... And Cherry's looking at her rather funny. Anyway the foods more important. The bring you a raw ingredients and you have to cook it yourself and on top of this they add a 10% service charge!!!

Sunset over hong Kong's harbour...

What more can I say... A beautiful day in Hong Kong looking over the city. The journey up here involved a tram which at a certain point defines gravity.... It was practically vertical and the buildings felt like they were leaning!!!!

More rice.... BUT this time its a rice terrace and not a field. Impressive or what?? (Just ignore me and my cone!)

After spilliting up with Mirky and Danny we found Linda and Walter!! (The Finns we met in Russia!!)

Yangshou - Lovely rice fields and Limestone Hill things (theres an actual name but now forgotten)

A cute waving Panda!! I want one.... or may be two as they are so playful!

Rural China - Near Chengdu BUT rather a challenging mission to get there! Nobody spoke English!

Now in Budapest!

Hello People!

Hope everyone is doing reallz well back in England... or if zou are on holiday that zou are having a brilliant time! If there are lots of y's and z's in the wrong place... well its because thez've been swaped on the keyboard! Rather confusing!

As I mentioned we left Ulcij in Montenegro at 5am. Kind of woke up a little bit late and if it wasn't for the taxi we would've missed the bus... completly judged the distance wrong!

The bus journez was 5 hours long, the first 3 hours on a minibus. Me and Danny where sat on the rear seats but when we got two somewhat larger people than we were, along with our rucksacks things got rather uncomfortable! Also if anyone has heard of the bay of Kotor? we drove all the waz around it taking nearly two hours which could've been swam at the mouth in 10 minutes! There were even car ferries taking coaches accross! But we went all the waz around!

The first views of Dubrovnik, The old town (Satri Grad) is in the foreground!

As soon as we got off the coach we got swarmed with people offering accomodation. Out of no particular reason we picked one and got taken to this womans house! A bit different to normal! Her father was also there cooking... we got told that that was his job!

Couldn't cope with Dubrovnik old town very long at all. Heat an people made it pretty unbearable! (There were 7 cruise ships in port!). Therefore gave up and went swimming!

The beach which wasn't much of a beach! More like a concrete platform with bits of rubbish floating around! It had a cave at the end with even more rubbish floating around! NICE.

The evening in Dubrovnik old town was very enjoyable! Reminded me of Venice. Lots of outside restaurants and plenty of places to sit beside the water! A very relaxing experience compared with earlier!

The next day....
... was spent on the ferry from Dubrovnik to Split

Look everyone... this is proof that we used sun tan lotion and still went red!
Went out very briefly to a club along the beach.. people where sat in the water drinking beer. Personally I preffered the swing chair drinking Jagermeister! Some Canadian guz bought all of us one... and Danny lots more! Hmmm?
Next day again....
.. was supposed to go white water rafting but couldn't find the information about it early enough so wandered around the old town instead! Headed off to the beach later....

... and went roack Jumping.
I had already been swimming and got changed when Danny came up with the idea of jumping off rocks! Didn't really want to get changed again so I said I'd just watch... What I actually did was watched him not jump because he got scared (Small kids where diving off this). Only when I got changed, did he try to jump in before me! Wasn't happening and I was in the water before him.
The Moon and Star in the Sky, the lovely sight at Split station whilst waiting for the train.
Overnight train...
... a bit scarz but an interesting ride. The scarz part first.. nearlz got robbed. A guz wearing a strippz top tried to get into our cabin but Danny had mangaed to hold the door shut, then he tried the next cabin and got some money, he then pushed his luck and tried a third cabin and the two girls in it woke up. All was returned but we never saw him again. Scary thought as all the cabins he targeted where backpackers.
The next day...
Got off at Lake Balaton with some American girls we'd met on the train. Had a swim and then continued our journey towards Budapest!

Lake Balaton before the swim.... looked much happier afterwards as we'd just spent nearly 18 hours on a train!
The castle on the Buda side of Budapest at night....ű
Not really done much since we've arrived. Pretty much only booked the Caving for tommorow.
Some people i've met along the way....
Onboard the ferry from Dubrovnik to Split I randomly started talking to this older guy from Sherburn, Devon (UK). He explained a bit about Bosnia's history and how his town was twinned with around 24 european towns... one being in Finland. I thought I ought to ask which one, expecting a really random answer but to my amazement he said Karkila (thats where my grandparent's summer cottage is....)
Then I met a guy called Alex, from Canada. He was taking the identical career route as me in life. Do a degree in Engineering whilst at the same time learn to fly. He had 85 hours so i'm beating him (Trying to do a happy face but can' find a colon thingy!)
And the last couple we met where studying at Manchester University and there favourite night club was 42nd street... weird or what!
The world is so small! But also so exciting!

Thats it for now, staying in Budapest for 3 more nights so i'll up date this as soon as I can again.
Keep safe
Leave me lots of comments! I'll even say please!
Goodnight x x x

Greetings from a random country!

Hello everybody!

I thought its about time that I finally put something on this post!

So anyway to continue with Danny's guessing game I will not give away the country I am in! If you really are interested you'll have to find out!

Travels up to now......

As im sure you are all aware that I left about 10 days ago now (but it feels much longer)... I wont repeat much of what Danny has said already..... So to keep it brief after leaving Manchester I first travelled to brighton, then onto Amsterdam. I spent a night here enjoying the highlights... everything is very RED!

I then met up with the two D's (thats Danny and Dean) and travelled onto Interlaken. In interlaken as im sure you all know, we went canoying! (I think this only happened because I got a bit drunk and decided I wonted to be a liitle crazy the next day......

so why not try Canoying???? It included stuff like absailing, canyon jumping, zip lines and sliding down rocks in all sorts of ways!

Now onto venice..... Satrted queing up for the tourist information but I got pounched on by a guy! He offered a hostel for 25euro a night each. Didn't hesitate at all as this was a bargin! Spent the next day wandering around the alleys of venice getting lost several times!

Pigeon Man

The ferry to corfu was long! But the sunset at 5am was brilliant! I never went back to sleep after that.....

Then it was corfu. Again i got pounched on, this time by a woman! The name of the hostel was the pink palace! Brilliant place! Danny wanted to go on a booze cruise, but me and Dean decided getting naked, drinking alcohol and swimming was not quite 'our' thing! Sea kayaking sounded much better and indeed it was (However Danny was very unimpressed!)

party time! at the Pink Palace

Now the secret place! We departed Corfu by boat (It would have to be a boat unless we swam! - not a good idea!) This was followed by a bus ride, a long and hot one! The roads were anything but flat and straight! Sometimes it felt like we were going to fall off cliff edges bu we safely got to our planned destination! ....

The least flat and straight road of Europe!

... i had no idea what to expect when we got off! But i can tell you something... for all guys that have watched Eurotrip (you know the one - its got me in it :) ..) well i think i found were they filmed Bratislava... its our mystery place which you lot must guess! We exchanged 10 pounds and instantly felt really rich! Its suprising how far that money could take us... Our place for the night was an apartment.... it had two floors, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a lounge and two bedrooms. For all three of us we didnt pay much more than I payed for a stinky small bed in a huge dorm room in Amsterdam!

This morning we left (sadly) by train and then taxi! the train ride was about 4 hours long and reminded me of the Cambodian one. Cherrelle I think these few hints might have given away the place.... The windows only existed partially, i.e some were windows had fully glass, some brocken/cracked and some just had a gap! The gap one appeared in the toilet, so people outside could just watch you have a pee! NICE! just like in Cambodia, we passed through the slums of the city, then lots of greenery and kids swimming in filty ponds. This country really didn't feel like it belonged to Europe!

The end stop off the Line... We are standing in the middle of some cross roads with all four roads being nothing but dusty, and dirty (Along with I think a dead dog covered in flies - How nice)

Once again when we got off this train, we hadn't a clue of which way to walk. The roads were dusty, everyone look at us funny and I couldnt even remember the name of the place we were intending to head off to! Eventually we found a nice enough taxi driver to drive us accross the border! The border crossing was uneventful BUT about 5 minutes after this, the taxi got stopped by police! We had to empty EVERYTHING in our rucksacks. A questioned every item to ensure it didnt contain any drugs! (Mum - I emptied out one of those B1 vitamin things!!)

Our firendly taxi driver!

Anyhows we are now safely back on the coast, this country is a bit more modern, they even use the Euro! Heading off to Croatia tommorow at 5am! Such an Early wake up again!

Danny and Dean... awwwww

then it looks like we are going to hit,

Hungary and Germany before somehow heading off to Finland!
